Zoom Across Borders
Connecting Students; Learning Languages
This program connects students from the United States and primarily Spanish-speaking countries for weekly one-on-one conversations via Zoom or the platform of their choice. Each participant will have the opportunity to practice the language they are learning and then alternate and help their partner.

Meet someone new and have weekly conversations about your lives and cultures!
Practice The Language You Are Studying
One week you will have a conversation in the language you are learning and the next week you will speak in your native language in order to allow your partner to practice.

HOW IT WORKS
You will be paired with a partner after filling out the interest form linked above. Meetings can last as little as 15 minutes; start slowly and gradually increase the time as you become more comfortable with your partner. Remember that everyone wants to learn, so speak up and be patient as you and your partner navigate conversation. This is a judgment free zone. Each week I will email you a suggested topic to help you get going!
